Science and Christianity for Churches: Self-study course

Have you always wanted to learn more about science and faith, but struggled to find the time for one of our one- or two-day training courses, or the motivation to figure it out by yourself? We have now developed some material that you can cover in your own time. Segments of video are used alongside activities that will help you to take in and reflect on the content, thinking about activities that you could carry out in your own setting.

This resource is designed for leaders in a church setting, whether full-time or ordained ministers, small group leaders, youth or children’s leaders, or simply active volunteers with an interest in the topic. If you have a reasonable understanding of Christian faith, and a desire – and hopefully the opportunity – to use your newfound knowledge in a church setting, then this course is for you.

The course involves eight or nine units of 90 mins study, covering a wide range of topics, and with some interaction with a tutor. To register interest please contact media@faraday.cam.ac.uk and we will be in touch with more details when the course is ready to be launched.
